Rest in Power GURU of GANGSTARR..HIP HOP had lost another legend.According to news media GURU lost his life to cancer.
I have to say to all brothers & sisters out there take of yourself,(Mind,body and soul).
HIP HOP,we have to keep gangstarr's music in steady rotation,they were and still are the true essence of rap music.

I was recently introduced to this this new Mag and needless to say, I am super excited about it! POP AFRICANA is the answer to all of my questions in regards to a mag that will fill the void that lumps diversity and eclecticism together (exhales). The First issue will hit stands on 4.29.10 in New York, Paris, London, Berlin. Stay tuned, I have a feeling that POP AFRICANA will peak my interest enough for more line dropping from yours truly AKA I'm hooked already!

Denise Huxtable vs. Zoe Kravitz

When I was a kid I admired Denise Huxtable hippie/boho style so much... she was hands down my favorite and most fashionable Huxtable and to this day my fashion Icon (Vanessa always annoyed the shit out of me!) She was so ahead of her time and super organic with her fly. 3 reasons why I love Denise Huxtable:
1)She clearly didn't have a stylist, however she was always super dope!
2)A Different world
3)Lenny Kravitz!!!!!


Zoe Kravitz is cut from the flyest vintage cloth possible...besides being a noted socialite having Lisa Bonet and Lenny Kravitz as parents is probably her greatest accomplishment. She embodies the same organic fly as her mom Lisa Bonet aka Denise Huxtable did... It's like fashion being re-born!


And when I want to be a lady I get on my Claire Huxtable shit, that's what I call sophisticated fly. Oh,how I love the 80's (giggles)

Bikram meet's Yoga*** Genius!

I find myself engaging in this relationship with Bikram, even though he kicks my ass, I keep going back for more. Bikram Yoga, I Love you dearly.

This is the best total body workout ever! And not only are you exercising your body but also your mind. Bikram Yoga gives me this calming natural high, not to mention the most banging glow ever, which is due to "practicing" the 26 VERY compromising postures in a 105 degree room (yes, it tends to get a tad bit musty)so I'm "downward dogging" while sweating profusely and I mean dripping... for 90 minutes! Gals, you must indulge at least once. Guys, don't sleep, this isn't for sissies! Bikram Yoga would DROP YOU!

Here are the 26 postures that I will master... one day I will be a dedicated Yogi!

Brooklyn fashion week 2010..hit or miss?

As soon as i land in front of the show,Happen to see a promo red ferrari,nice.Overall the show was clean with a nice production,but the brands/designers,some of the models,and especially the crowd was not the wave,It was such a let down.NO vibe,no energy I couldn't believe that i was in brooklyn.The live performances by CERESIA and COCO SAREE were good,But my man with the white pants & black hilter boots had me on the floor(forgot his name..sorry).He had too much moves he was whining,sliding,dropping it,and even did the matrix..lol

watchout for the big girl..designer BGU used plus size models for their runway show,which was one of the most interesting.
