Officer Dunton not charged for shooting officer Edwards

Officer Dunton will NOT face any criminal charges for shooting and killing fellow officer Edwards.The Police dept.will conduct an internal review for "disciplinary measures"(a slap on the wrist?).According to District Attorney Mr. Morgenthau Dunton shouted out "drop the gun" and instead Edwards pointed his gun at him!?!?!?!
This is what they believe lead Dunton to fire 6 shots.

in conclusion:So we have a Four year veteran white officer from the long island patrolling the streets of harlem!(undercover).
Was this a racist act?
Because Sean bell was a unarmed civilian and officers fired 50 shots.BUt in this case Edwards had his gun drawn.
So why only 1 of the 3 detectives opening fire?
Why only 6 shots?
