Hey if you dont know who this guy is maybe your parents do.In the late 60's he started a band called the PARLIAMENT.The PARLIAMENT was a household name in black music.Then in the 70's he changed the name of his band to FUNKADELIC taking the sound of music to a new demension.It was soul,r&b,and rock merged together into something called FUNK.After battling music industry politics in 1982 he went solo.So from then to now he is titled as the godfather of funk.His sense of style and fashion was just off the wall,you can spot him from a block away.His colors and outfits were just crazy.I definitely learned alot about fashion from watching this dude.George showed everyone how to set their own standards,trends,& make a statement.His eyewear was always on point.(i could imagine his collection)

No,but seriously..C'mon people!RICK ROSS aint fugaze,everyone nationwide who ran to a local louis vuitton store begging for those sunglasses(trying to look like ross)are the fugaze ones!!Stop jocking,People have been custom making their gear since the 70's.The man just wanted to be creative and separate himself from all these lames in the street.The problem is that everyone is a so called "LOUIS VUITTON don"now(lol).There is way too much hype on LV nowadays,people need to get a grip.
1.those shades are better then any other LV shades
2.The cost to make those probably can buy two pairs of real LV shades.
By the way,Mr.Michael D.Pantalony needs to redo his homework on black culture and the role of black trendsetters in the fashion community.We take things that exist,reinvent them and make them our own,Only to break the rules and stick out from the rest.I'm no scholar but this goes for LOUIS VUITTON or any corporation-If you're gonna market to a race or subculture you must truly understand their way of thinking before you target their wallets.Shoutout to PHIL KNIGHT and NIKE for creating the "NIKE ID" concept(phenomenal)
sorry if i lost you,but i had to put some closure to this issue.RICK ROSS nor XXL magazine should be sued.ROSS designed his shades from a real existing pair of LV shades,big deal.THEY were designed by JACOB JACK BERNSTEIN aka the sunglass pimp.
It's okay to customize your car and your sneakers but not your sunglasses? COME ON PEOPLE !!!
