Nas & Mobb Deep working on a album( via MTV.com)

Queensbridge unite! Last night during a press conference for Rock the Bells 2011, Mobb Deep’s Havoc told HipHopDX that he, Prodigy and Nas will be working on a joint album.
"We’re gonna do a Mobb Deep and Nas album. It hasn’t begun but we tipped the iceberg a little bit with the 'Dog Sh--.' I think as we was working, doing songs back and forth with Nas recently, I think it was just a mutual thought, like, 'Yo, let’s make a f---ing album.' Everybody was like, 'Yeah, that would be dope. F--- it, what we waiting for? Let’s do it.'"

The Queensbridge MCs have recently collaborated on “Dog Sh--t," a track recorded and released after Pee and the Illmatic rapper settled their differences. When MTV News caught up with Mobb Deep in mid May, Prodigy said that fans can expect more music from Nas and M-O-B-B. "We put that aside and was like, 'All right, let's start doin' some music.' We had the 'Dog Sh--' and made a couple of other joints that's crazy," he said.
Sway also sat down with Nas a few days later and asked about the possibility of any more Mobb collaborations beyond the already leaked “Dog Sh--,” but during that interview Nas didn’t commit, citing that his upcoming solo album is his priority. "At the moment, I just got back into the studio, and my focus right now has been just starting to work on the album, so who knows?" he said.
Check back with RapFix and MTV News for more details as they unfold.

BREAKING: Jonas Bevacqua, Co-Founder Of LRG Clothing Has Passed Away
VIBE.COM By: MikeyFresh Posted 5-31-2011 3:45 pm

VIBE is sad to report that LRG clothing Co-Founder Jonas Bevacqua has died. There is little information to report on the cause of this fashion icon’s death, but a confirmation was made this afternoon via Twitter from online clothing store, Karmaloop, a carrier of LRG.
“Our thoughts & prayers go out to the loved ones of Jonas, co-founder of LRG. We're deeply saddened by this news. Rest in Peace.” – via @Karmaloop on Twitter

Bevacqua, who is a native of Southern California, developed LRG alongside Co-Founder and business partner Robert Wright in 1999.

In an interview with HypeBeast at the beginning of May, Bevacqua described LRG as an independent, family-operation, apparel company with multicultural roots, delighting in the collaborations between their extended family of professional athletes, artists, and musicians.
We will keep you posted as more information emerges.  Tyler McDermott

Sneakerpedia Launch Event Recap

It's safe to say that the heat was turned all the way up in NYC on Tuesday night as sneakerheads near and far came to celebrate the much-anticipated launch of Sneakerpedia by Foot Locker (we suggest you visit now). Decked out in some of the industry's hottest kicks, the Mayor, DJ Clark Kent, and DJ Greg Street hosted soiree was graced by some of the game's biggest names as well as many notable enthusiasts. One such sneaker liaison, the illustrious Bun B, provided the crowd with fresh tunes as attendees showed off, showed love, and marveled over the footwear seen throughout. So sorry to all who weren't there, but the least we could do was provide you with a little photo recap to make you feel like you were. Enjoy.
